Help with Limerick baptism please

This Healy baptism in St. Munchin Limerick 31st. October 1808 is of interest, would appreciate
a transcription of the entry.  Could the word before 'Grace' be a short form of Bridget?  Elsewhere
in the record though it is written in full.  e.g. the record for 1st. November 1808.

Whatever that symbol/abbreviation is, it is used a couple of lines down in a Lyons marriage for the man's name. Do you have evidence from elsewhere that she was Bridget Grace?

It may be just a fancy B. I see some flourished Ps and Cs from the same priest.

I don’t think it’s a B, as it doesn’t have a straight downstroke, such as can be seen in Brigida.

Comparing other entries on nearby pages, I think it’s a P, as in several examples of Pat^o (Patritio = Patrick).

Presumably the couple in the 2nd line are the godparents.

Can you find any other baptisms to Lawrence Healy in this or a nearby parish, in case the mother’s name is written out in full?

Thankyou for your transcription Bookbox.  At present this search is equivalent to a needle in a haystack.

What is known is the marriage of Mary Healy to William Jones on 7.11.1831 in St. Munchin Church
of Ireland, Limerick.  I am looking for the baptisms of both Mary Healy and William Jones.

Family notes (no official records) indicate that both were born in Abbeyfeale, Limerick.  Church of
Ireland records for Abbeyfeale were destroyed in 1922.   Some time ago a Rootschatter suggested
that the Healy name in Limerick was a Catholic name.  I set this idea aside as the marriage was
C. of Ireland.  I have since read that for a marriage to be legal between a Catholic and a member of the Church of Ireland at that time then it must be solemnized in the Church of Ireland.

Currently I am looking at Catholic baptism records for Mary Healy.  I am struggling to read the RC
records for Abbeyfeale as their condition is not good.  A death record for Mary Healy/Jones indicates
a birth of 1810.   Another researcher sent the above record from Ancestry and at this point any
baptisms in Co. Limerick could be relevant and are  under consideration.

I don't know. That's why I put Grace [?] in my transcription.
It appears in many entries in this register.

Whatever the word after Grace is, it is in every entry, following the names of the parents. Something in Latin, I suppose.

I thought perhaps it may refer to the Godparents, in the November 1st. entry the first letter looks
like 'R' it could be a short form of 'received' i.e. received into the church by the Godparents.  Having
said that, this word is written differently in many of the baptism entries on this page of the register.
