Sorry for causing confusion - hopefully if you follow the links I added you'll see there are three distinct marriages

I've gone through the online parish record images for Llandeilo Fawr and don't see the 1819 marriage.
It could be that they have been wrongly indexed on the site that I'm using.

Obviously Freereg have transcribed from a set that are not available online.  I'll see if I can find them on another site.

I've now search 4 online sites and the image of 1819 marriage entry  is not coming up. It seems it is  the most likely date but it's up to you to accept the FreeReg entry .

Thanks for looking

What's your opinion on the question of the baptism of their son taking place in a Wesleyan chapel, but the marriages taking place in the parish church? Does that seem incongruous to you?

No, It was quite common in non-conformist families before 1837. One of my own Methodist lines did this.

Marriages between 1754 and 1837 had to be in an Anglican Church in order to be legally recognised (unless Quakers or Jews). So up to 1837 it is completely normal to find couples marrying in an Anglican ceremony and baptising their children in nonconformist chapels.

I'm glad you came on, Bookbox. I was looking for a good online reference for baptisms, marriages and burials, etc.  before 1837. I still swear by Ancestral Trails as an excellent starting point for  those new to family research.

there seems to be a gap in the availability of the marriage registers of the parish but the BTs are at the NLW and the record office. They have been filmed for FamilySearch.

I have an index of the marriages for the county and the marriage is there but no further detail apart from both being otp.

You could ask the archives about getting a copy
