I'm hoping that I haven't asked this question in the past  :-\ 

I'd be pleased to have an estimated date for the attached photograph of my grandmother.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Just wondering if it could be taken around her marriage date. The hairstyle reminds me of the style worn 1907-1910. I'm not sure if Jim and Carol have seen it.

I've just enlarged the hand  and snipped  and I think I can see a ring  :)

so around her marriage of just after - 1907+

Yes, the photograph does show a ring on the third finger. 

Unfortunately someone mounted the photograph onto a heavy cardboard backing.  In fact the "Allingham" information is part of the cardboard backing!

What a lovely photo, I wonder if it could have to taken for her 21st Birthday, she looks very elegant. I agree with Gadget's date a year side.

No I hadn't seen that, the ring looks to be a bit chunky for a wedding ring, but I could be wrong.
