1939 population list
« on: Friday 22 April 22 15:12 BST (UK) »
I am interested in a woman listed in September 1939 for Buckley as Margaret Vale Bonetto Williams. Next to the entry are the abbreviations M 1.3.46 ZNA and 22.2.43 M(ZMA). I do not know why two maiden names are crossed out, nor what the two abbreviations mean. I would value some help.

M is Marriage and the date it was altered

ZNA or ZMA is the area code for where the amendment was done

Which Buckley are you talking about?

NE Wales, near Mold. I don't know if she/he married twice, but I gain an impression (I don't know why) that she deployed two maiden names. I am mystified about it.

Thank you all. I have now read all your replies, compared them afresh with the 1939 population list and other b.m.d. records which it all led to - and mystery is solved. Many thanks!
