« on: Wednesday 27 April 22 04:47 BST (UK) »
Good Morning
James McGown Munro was born 1922 in Scotland & migrated to Northcliffe ,WA with his family in 1926. The family later relocated to Collie in 1936  to work in the mines . All family members are buried in Collie except James. He died in The Quadraplegic Centre in Shenton Park ,5/12/1997.
Electrol Rolls from 1980 -1996 show him living there.
I would like to know if he had an accident  & where his ashes may be,please
I am helping a lady from the Northclife Pioneer Museum
I have seen his Army records etc,
Many Thanks
AG :)

Ashes Request
TAKEN BY ADMINISTRATOR AT KARRAKATTA CEMETERY
I would be inclined to contact the below and ask them about his ashes. Sometimes they spread them in a nice garden area.

You could try the below link for Western Australia state library and ask if they have a free search for newspapers, some state libraries do a free 2 hour search[used to, a few years since i have used this service in QLD] If he had been in a accident they might find something in the newspapers.. Give what information you have and years to and from when it may have happened. Going by his military records his address in 1977 appears to be flats so he wasnt at the centre then. So between the years 1976 to 1980?? Anything is worth a try.
