Marion Richards was my Great grandmother married to Walter George French. He was killed by the first parachute bomb 29/12/1940. Marion was apparently very unpleasant.
Marion's father was an interesting person. He took his whole family to Kansas for the gold rush in 1858 and made his living as a photographer (and maybe a prospector?)
He died shortly after returning home but his wife 'lived on her own means' so maybe he became rich
