Family from Bedzin, Poland

Hello

I have been to  these boards many years ago in the Search for help tracing my mother's side of the family who originate from Bedzin.

Since then, I managed to find more information with the help of a Polish genealogist. Unfortunately she now demands a much higher price for producing a birth certificate, as in £100 per certificate.

Is there another way of searching for relatives without having to spend a small fortune?? Thank you.

Thank you Dave. In particular, I'm looking for a birth certificate for my great great grandmother Sara Friedler (1871)? born Feldman in Bedzin.

To my knowledge  she had at least 1 daughter Helene (Chaja) Friedler born on 18.3.1891 also in Bedzin. I have a birth certificate for my grandmother Chaja in Russian.

Sara was married to Mendel Friedler.  Ancestry shows more children to Mendel and Sara.  But it's Sara herself which I  am interested in as I have a DNA match.Thank you

Have you tried looking at surname anglicised maybe to Fried ?

Where did your ancestors emigrate to ? Do you have any siblings names.? I couldn't find the records on ancestry
