Maiden Stone,
That family were in Calton, Lanarkshire - Scotlands People in 1911.

Calton is in Glasgow.
It's more evidence that John Valente who married Miss Pelosi in Glasgow in 1905 was a different man to the John Valente who married Margaret Taylor in 1911.

Do you think it’s best to put the Pelosi marriage on one side now.

I have been looking for Margaret Taylor with no success with the parents mentioned.
Did she also give a Jersey Street address on the marriage certificate?

I meant her marriage certificate to John Valente. Was there an address there for Margaret.

See Michael's reply #32 on page 4 for addresses at marriage.

Look at the Europe board which is under heading "Research in other countries" on the Forum. It has a list of resources. If you don't see anything on the list you could ask for suggestions.
If you put a new request about John Valente on that board, say in your first post that you already have this topic on the Lancashire board.
You have the benefit of knowing names of both his parents from the Ancoats church marriage register for the Catholic wedding ceremony on 1921.
