hi
just been to the library looking at the 1921 census

John is Giovanni Valenti of 5 flower Street Oldhan Road
Question 1 is the a reason why they swap from Valente to Valente and back is this just a spelling mistake
as one the 1921 mattiage cert Joanann is Valenti but the father is Valente
We believe John born 1911 and Anthony born 1914 is a son but they are not on the 1921 Census would it make a difference if they were at School

and wrking as a ice cream seller

Trying to find that birthplace.p with similar sounding names.

Looking through 1911 birthplaces for Italians in Manchester, there are some born Genoa.

There is a Valente family in Birkenhead b Genoa.
