Florence died in 1961, Durham? A Harold C Luckhurst married in Aldershot, 1971. Where did you get the 1979 death from?

Yes with regards to date of death for Florence .
Yes he lived Aldershot , so sounds like he did remarry then.
Is this information avaliable to me, where do you find it at ?
Not sure where the 1979 came from, i do appreciate your help though .

He was a Sergeant in the Royal Artillery in 1943 when his mother died if I have the right person, he was one of the pallbearers.

FindMyPast has a newspaper article from the Sevenoaks Chronicle and Kentish Advertiser dated 12 Nov 1943 about her funeral, it says amongst other things that the pallbearers were 4 of her sons and 2 sons-in-law.

The death notice/obit is also on the BNA. You can register for free, and then you can view 3 free pages.
Looks like the obit mentions she was from America. Does that sound like your ancestor?
