Hi everyone, thankyou for allowing me to join!

My great grandma was Janet Hetherington 1880 of Rutherglen, Lanarkshire and John Henderson 1876 of the same.

I am on a personal mission to expand my family tree outwards and I would love to hear from anyone related/descended from these families.

I've already searched the forum, and there's a few posts about my great great grandparents, Thomas Hetherington born 1842 and Janet Hynd Bainbridge born 1843, however the posts were made quite a few years back, so if these members are still around, i'd love to hear from you.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
