He's in a children's home in Twickenham in 1911

perhaps he was adopted and took on his new family's name (no formal adoption processes in those days)

There is a Peter Milde birth :-\
MILDE, PETER  ERIC MILDE
Mother's Maiden Surname: GARVAN
GRO Reference: 1910  S Quarter in FULHAM  Volume 01A  Page 310

I can't see a Garvan/Milde marriage

Giving him Milde as a middle name as well makes me suspicious we don;t have quite the truth in the names

Also indexed in June Sep 1910, Fulham, on (vol 1a) page 310
Spencer, Peter E. M.

FreeBMD say Peter E H, but I think it is an M.
Can't find it on the new birth index.

So is Peter indexed twice, as both Milde and Spencer? :-\

Doesn't  help much, except to note she had an affair with Mr Milde and a child was born on 25 December 1906. At the time of the divorce petition she was living in Fulham
