Could it be Barnish (Bearnais or Bearnas, there are 3) Townland in County Antrim?

Barnish (Bearnais), Drummaul Civil Parish, Barony of Toome Upper, Co. Antrim
Barnish (Bearnas), Culfeightrin Civil Parish, Barony of Cary, Co. Antrim
Barnish, Connor Civil Parish, Barony of Antrim Lower, Co. Antrim

Can't find Bernice - but it was hard even finding Barnish.

Misread some of the other Townlands! Connor and ?

The Crothers one with Loonburn. The last one on you list fits, it neighbours with Loonburn and Ballygowen, both places where I know ancestors were.

It looked so much like bernice.

and low and behold Griffiths valuation I have a Robert Phillips, in Barnish, parish of Connor

thanks :)
