Any help would be greatly appreciated!
« on: Monday 23 May 22 15:44 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone. Having a little difficulty reading the name, FYI the earliest date is not the birth date. Not trying to find the individual at this point, just would like the name. I can have a good guess but would appreciate any help.

Thanks  ;D

Looks like W, possibly a middle initial ? J ?,  Bishop (but that may be a very stylised capital B rather than a middle initial?) 1833 1873

I wonder if the initials are W S? I think a 'J' (or an 'I') would normally have some kind of curl or loop at the top.

I thought the starting point of the formation of the 2nd initial looked too straight to be an 'S'?

The B is odd but I am not convinced that there is a middle initial. There’s not the usual form of a capital I, S or J, but the writer was a bit minimalistic, eg no loop to the o, so the squiggle could be a letter ….  :-\

J would normally extend below the line so I am erring towards I, but having said that there are more names starting with J than I.
