His death cert should have a date and place of birth if the informant knew it, so hopefully they would match the birth cert.

My Irish granny was Honor on her birth certificate. She was Honoria when she married her first husband and Annie when she was informant of his death. She married my granddad as Annie and remained Annie for the rest of her life. As if that weren't enough, her maiden surname has been incorrectly transcribed for my dad's birth registration on GRO website.

Thanks to all replies to my post, still no luck yet but still trying
