Forbes family living in Fodderty.

I am researching the family of Robert Forbes b in 1857 in Roskeen ,Ross and Cromarty.He married Eluzabeth. "Betsy" Dowling She was born in Tarbet Ross and.Coronary in 1854 and.died in the 13th of December 1925 in Inverness .They had the following children  .James 1883  Urquhart and Logie Wester. Barbara born in 1888 in Fodderty., Margaret 1893, Fodderty ,and John 1899 in Fodderty. They were living at the ploughmans cottage in Fodderty in 1901. Trying to find.information for the children of James and.Barbara.

Have you downloaded a copy of his birth, marriage or death cert from SP which will give you his parents names & his mothers maiden name.  SP is pay per view

Thanks . I forget to add that I know who the parents were .They came from Ullappol .Elizabeth and Robert were married in 1880 at the Free Church in Alness.It was the children of Robert and.Elizabeth that I was trying to find out more about.but appreciate you taking the the time to message me .

The children of James & Barbara will already have details of who J & B married & the children born to those marriages etc etc so presumably they want to know about the families of Margaret & John - is that correct?

You would need to use SP to find marriages for them both & SP to find births to those marriages.  Both will have married after 1911

The Scottish 1921 census will be available on SP in the latter part of this year which could help in your search
