Even though you will have it, it might help others to search.

Is this John’s death? parents John and Mary Freeman

Mary Burns was born about 1855 in Lisdoonvarna.  I found a note on my grandmother's marriage certificate about  Mary stating "of Scottish blood"  .  I found that most interesting that it would be noted.

The records found show John Considine’s wife as Margaret not Mary.
Some records also show England as the birthplace of both John and Margaret and also Margaret’s parents b Scotland. You mention this with your grandmother’s marriage certificate.
It is difficult to assess which records have the correct information as the information may not be reliable.

If John Francis is the first child, born 1878, you would think the marriage would be around 1876.

Where do you have the information re Lisdoonvarna?

I will look through my box of records. I was working from memory. Thank you for your reply. Interesting about the Margaret instead of Mary. There are so many Margaret’s in my family,I could have mixed it up. Also a lot of Mary’s. Carol

Found the marriage record of John Considine and Margareat Hayden (my gparents).  You were right.  John s parents are listed as John F. Considine and  Maragaret Burns ( my ggparentss).  Still did not find the Lisdoonvarna referenece that I remember seeing written in by hand.

As I wrote, various records show Ireland and England and also with Margaret’s parents, Scotland.
I can’t yet see a marriage in Ireland, England or Scotland or US but an not familiar with US records other than those on Family Search.

Do you have the children in 1900?

Yes, I have seen the list of names from various records but can’t see them in 1900 census. Do you have them then?
