DNA tests and results again

When you say that the other things never appear, have you tried scrolling down beyond the sections you've shown above? That's where I find instruction on how to download my DNA test results

There is nothing else, nothing below. Here are the bottoms of the pages. There is no section called Actions" or "DNA Settings" or the other options that have been mentioned.

Thank you. But we have done that many times, to no effect. What we get is (as in the article) Scroll to the Actions section (under the Test Management heading); but there is no Actions section, and no Test Management heading, and if I follow the arrow by my name, it simply takes me to the attachment I showed earlier; if I click on my daughter's name, it tells us we are not related or one of us hasn't taken a test. There is never Actions, nor Test Management.

Try this

 and scroll down until you get to Download DNA Data

Click on that.

Then click on Your DNA tests.
Then click on  the test name that you want .
Then Click on Download DNA test.

What I have done now is log out entirely, and log in again using the email address they always use communicating with me, plus clicking the asterisks which hide my password. That got me back into Ancestry, and I again followed the steps that are outlined in the instructions you pointed me to. This time the Test Management and Actions options appeared, and I now have a .txt file of 17.2 MB. This is looking hopeful, and I shall now attempt to upload it to gedmatch, plus preserve it inviolable in some safe 'saved' place.
Whether gedmatch will accept it this time, or say it is still too small, remains to be seen. (I dare say the previous too small one was downloaded from FamilyTreeDNA.) Watch this spot!
