Nags Head appears as a location in West Rainton in the 1841 census.
HO 107/312/21/28/p.13 & 14

My personal feeling is that this is most likely the location of the Knaggs Head given in your baptism, given that their abode for the baptism of three of their other children was West Rainton.

Location of Nags Head, just south of Rainton Gate, and a little north of Pittington

Thanks JenB. Given all of the evidence here I must agree. The comparison map is excellent. Thank you!
