hello everyone thanks for the amazing efforts just thought i would let you know that my Mum is still with us and celebrated her 92 birthday back in April but so sadly has dementia and  alzheimer's and lives in a nursing home but is in reasonable health so thanks for all your amazing efforts

I sympathise, Phil.  My mother had dementia and died at the age of 90 in the late 1990s and my father  died in the 1980s after a heart attack.
Remember your father with fondness  and cherish your mother.
