Hi,
I wonder if you can help.
I have a Mrs Beaton cookbook.
Inside the cover is handwritten Lily Beale,32,Onslow Gardens London W8.
Lily is my wife’s great aunt.
I am assuming she was a domestic at that address.
Does anybody have access to records for that house please.
Not sure of date,but probably 1910-30

Are you sure it's not number 52?
1911
Lily Beale, 22, born Houghton Hampshire
Kitchen maid in Kensington

Interestingly enough,her employer actually died in Stockbridge Hampshire,2 miles from where lily was born.

The 1911 address is actually "52 Onslow Square", not "Gardens".

John William Price, 54, Solicitor.
Wife, son, and four servants, at said address.
Perhaps Lily's next place of employment? Or previous?
