Dolly's Father James
« on: Thursday 07 July 22 16:09 BST (UK) »
Hi friends,

I have been sent this photo of a photo of my great great uncle James.  The owner doesn't have access to a scanner, so this is the best version I can get.  Could it be straightened please, and the spots removed from around his face?  I am especially keen to be able to crop a nice clean photo of his face.

Thanks for looking!

Judy  :D
Best wishes, Judy :-))

My try. :)
Judy, I couldn't work out whether or not he has on some sort of pince nez glasses or something... so I've left it ambiguous.

Hi Peter  :D

Thank you very much!

Looking at the actual photo I was sent, I don't think he is wearing any type of glasses - Harder to see on this photo as I had to shrink it to just under the limit.

I think that what looks like a bar across his nose it just a dirty mark.  Could be wrong, of course!

You say you had to shrink the photo to just under the limit.  The limit is 500kB and your picture is just about 58kB so think there should not be a problem

Hi japeflakes

The original photo that I was sent was 1.04MB, so I had to keep resizing it until was under the RC limit for posting.  :)
Best wishes, Judy :-))
