Help to decipher marriage details from 1938
« on: Friday 08 July 22 16:27 BST (UK) »
I have attached a clip from the marriage details of Charles Brown & Mary Jones in 1938 in the Provan area of Glasgow.
At the time of the marriage Charles resided in the Maryhill area and Mary in the Springburn area of Glasgow.
I cannot make out the name of the church where they were married and I cannot make out the occupations other than that Mary was a Biscuit ? and Charles a ? Operator.
As always any suggestions would be much appreciated.

James.

Yes, but as it was on 30 December it might not have been registered until 1938. (In Scotland registration is separate from the marriage ceremony.)
