It is also possible to search the British newspaper archive without a subscription and get some free copies by doing a free trial.  Local libraries in the UK often have free access to newspaper s too.

Hi Glynn

It's a long shot, but you are looking for Australian newspaper records then the Trove site is an excellent resource (goes back to the 1840s). I believe it's also possible to search British newspapers online but I don't know the site address. Good luck with your search!
