Ruth's parents, if I'm following the right road:

Marriage of Morris A. Eisenhauer  and Catharine Gries on 27 May 1896:
Morris age 25, Catharine age 19
Residence for both: 532 Windsor St.
Morris' parents: Albert and Susan
Catharine's parents: John and Margaret
Morris' occupation: cement worker and bricklayer
Nativity of Morris: Bertill Township (something unreadable), Pennsylvania
Nativity of Catharine: Germany

Findagraves for Ruths parents:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/37855332/morris-abraham-eisenhauer
Right death certificate, but attached obit says wife died 15 yrs prior?? She didn't die until 1957...

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/209128598/katherine-eisenhauer
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Relihan, New York City; a grandson, Robert Relihan;

Of course, this may not be the right Ruth!  It all hinges on the "papa" in the opening post being Arthur J N Floyd.

Edit: When Katherine/Catherine died, Ruth Relihan signed her death certificate. She put her address as 5007 Hudson Ave, West N.Y, N.J  (New York, New Jersey).

This would make her an 'Original American'.

Can you add anything to what has been discussed above? People here have made some effort to find info to help you but we don't know if we are on the right track  :-\

bbart, in particular, made lots of potential headway with the American records. Does this fit with what the family know about Ruth?
