Could someone help with a translation of part of a 1779 Dublin will of Richard Aylmer.
This section names his children. Although some family trees only have the two boys,we think this names 2/3 girls too. He married in 1772 and died in 1779.
Many thanks
Carol

The children's names in the will are Jane Aylmer, Charles Aylmer, Caroline Aylmer, Elizabeth Aylmer and '...the child or children that my wife is now incient (i.e. pregnant) with...'

I'd agree with those names.
Did his wife remarry after his death?
If her second husband left a will, the children from her first marriage may be mentioned in it.

Thank you both- we do know who his children were.
We know that Jane and Charles are twins.
It was a translation of that part of the will that I was hoping for if at all possible.
This is a friend's family, I'm not sure if Betty(Elizabeth) re married after Richard died.

Amondg, thank you very much for that.
I find the sort of 'square' writing very difficult to read.
Regards
