Tracing George Read

Can't find parents of George Read born about 1809 in Preston Kent England, married 28th May 1831 in Sturry Kent to Sarah Finch who was born 1808 in Chislet Kent. George died 1856 in Ash Kent.

I note the baptisms of their first 5 children, others on 1851 census posted by Carole

Edward, George, David, Mary Anne, Sarah, William, Albert & Benjamin.

I guess this is Sarah from the information posted.

There are two Preston’s in Kent I do not see a baptism for George in either. Preston (Faversham) &
Preston on Stour.

Preston on Stour is 3 miles from Chislet. However there are a number of baptism is the County, the one below might be worth a further look?

Thanks for the information Colin. That George Read is ruled out because he died after my George Read died which was in Ash, Kent in 1856. Good confirmation of information I have though.
