The 1921 census may well be worth following up as the free index shows an Archibald Middleton McKinley b 1900 in Newington, London living in Burton upon Trent. Coincidence or is this the son referred to  previously?

"Archibald McKinley Middleton b 3rd June 1900 Christchurch, Burton on Trent."

Can you list all the information on the birth record.

Where and when was baby born?

Who is the informant?

What occupation for father?

Where and when was birth registered?

Thank you all for your replies.  Your answers to my question have been very helpful and I certainly have something to work with now.  I do quite like the idea of him possibly being a bit of a wrong'un!
Kind regards
