1911 - 1921 census query.

John J Dorrington born Dec 1/4 1910 in Biggleswade.  Mothers maiden name Ward.

John James Dorrington b.6/11/1910 died December 1993 in Bedford.

Can't find reference to a Dorrington-Ward marriage
Unable to find John J Dorrington (b 1910) on the 1911 and 1921 census.

Did you look for other kids with the surname/ mmn combination?

Looks like the householder has god-awful writing. look for Florina in Shefford Hardwick

Mother was older. I.e. 32 at birth of Florence May, Perhaps she had a previous marriage.

Marriage to James could be hiding here

Marriages Sep 1907   (>99%)
DORRINGTON    James        Biggleswade    3b   784

Am having trouble getting at the spouse.

Looks like he’s also been transcribed as Darrington in 1921.

the surname is familiar as have posted queries about the Dorringtons in the past but this is a new query.
Unable to see any other Dorrington births with the Mothers maiden name Ward.

If you look at the 1911 census posted already, the daughter there is easily found in the GRO reg for 1908 with MMN WARD
