are these the same person?

Hello, I've almost convinced myself this is the same person, however not sure if it's just wishful thinking. A second opinion would be much appreciated! The colour photo was with a memorial card for Charles William ROBERTSON (1921-1981), so I'm assuming that's who is is.

Yes, Maddy. I think it is the same person.
Same gap in teeth, same hairline, same long eyebrows.

And same missing lateral incisors. (I think. If you could get more focus on the teeth in the colour photograph it would be good)

Very very similar but his left ear (on right in pic) is different - one is rounded at the top and one more pointed.  Also, the nose is slightly different.

Yes i agree with gadget.
Ear on left, as we look ,different.
Eyebrows different.
Gaps in teeth often familial so cannot rely  on that as a marker.

Looking again, I think that the shape of the faces are different.  The younger one seems longer and less round/fleshy. It could be the angles but I don't think so.
 
I'll see if I can do a side by side but the angles are different.
