deciphering street name, Stoke Damerel, Devon 1860s

Trying to decipher the street name on this marriage entry from 1863, Stoke Damerel in Devon

Could it be Mahon Place or Alahon Place or something else?

The 1871 census has a Mayhon Place in Stoke Damerel - next door to Park Lane

I thought it looked like Mahon but as I lived in that area for 25 years and didn't know it, I wasn't sure. Have you found it on any map, Kay?  I had a couple of friends who live in Park Street.

Also spelt Mayon on some pages, and next to Mayon Cottages which are mentioned in the enumerators instructions.

Stoke Damerel is the old name for Devonport!
