David Davies and Catherine Davies

Hi All

I am trying without success to find an ancestor David Davies who with Catherine Davies had a child Evan Davies in 1771 Radnorshire Wales, whilst I have information for Evan and Families I cannot find any information on David or Catherine, no birth no marriage dates etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Evan Davies. Putative son (generally considered or reputed to be) David Davies begotten on the body of Catherine Davies Baptised 18 January 1771.

possible burial for Catherine of Pentrecithorn 12 June 1827 age 79 years born 1748 .
So she would be 23 when Evan was born and 44 on her youngest William's birth.
David 's  24 Sep 1810 has no age given

I can't spot an obvious marriage or baptism for him.

Thank you for your help Colin I did have that information on Evans Birth but that was as far as I could get on David and Catherine, hard without her maiden name too.

Ciderdrinker thank you too as I was only aware of 1 child Evan (most unusual for the times), this has opened up another avenue for me to check out, David seems very elusive to say the least!

I did find this marriage, which I dismissed but given the additional information by Ciderdrinker it might be worth following up.
