very few Donegal parishes have records back that far

dont think you are supposed to ask for lookups of commercial sites

if you know the parish you can check the registers free on the national library of Ireland website, think you can also search these on Findmypast with a free account (assuming Catholic)

Most pay sites have restrictions on lookups and it is Rootschat policy to abide by those conditions.

Here are the Irish Catholic Parish Registers (free)-

Came across these 3 births for Rose Doherty in the approx. time period you are looking for. The only thing is none have the place listed. They are:

Baptisms:
Rose Doherty  23 Sept 1828 parents: Matt   Doherty & Alice Haughey

Rose Doherty  18 November 1828 parents: Edward Doherty & Ann Wooldrich

Rose Dogherty  18 February 1839 parents: Denis Dogherty & Ellen McLaughlin

As commented the Irish Catholic Parish Registers images are on the NLI site as images only.
The microfilm images were jointly transcribed by Ancestry and Findmypast and appear on both their sites.
BMB are all lumped together by Ancestry but split on FindMyPast and searching specific counties and places or specifying mothers and fathers is easy there. Entirely free to search and view on FindMyPast only have to register/create an account not take out a subscription.
https://search.findmypast.com/search-world-records/ireland-roman-catholic-parish-baptisms

Many of the early Catholic parish registers are in a poor state and legibility can be an issue.
RootsIreland consists of a group of county or area subsites and genealogy centres working more locally. Their index only collection is from the original registers not from the microfilm so there are differences.
Findmypast search produces no Rose Doherty+sounds like or looking inputting D*h*ty in Co. Donegal 1833 ±5 no forname. That is perhaps understandable as only Clonleigh Parish in the entire County has RC registers going back that far and when you look on NLI map and open that parish whilst registers start 1773 is 1773-95, 1836-7 then a run from 1853. Culdaff starts 1838.

Rootsireland coverage table for Donegal with start dates https://rootsireland.ie/donegal/online-sources.php
John Grenham's https://www.johngrenham.com/records/county_church_full.php?county=Donegal&search_type=full&denomination=Roman%20Catholic

So, like you, not having a current sub to RootsIreland I do see inputting the name produces 6 results, they could be Church of Ireland, Presbyterian or Methodist. So what church did she attend/marry in subsequently? If she was you suspect RC then your not going to find her.

These are from RootsIreland. I am a bit concerned about the dates given on 5 as 3 match each other and 2 mstch each other. It may be wise to look at the registers to confirm said dstes. You can also follow the families via the Tithe Applotment Books. The families are concentrated in Clonmany & Upper Moville so that is where to focus first. Kim

Certainly strange as both NLI and the RootsIreland's own coverage table show Clonmany RC registers not starting till 1852.
They show Clonleigh (Lifford) as the only parish listed as having pre-1835 registers. There will have been Rose Dohertys born elsewhere in Co. Donegal. Some of the surviving Church of Ireland registers are older but many registers are also missing, destroyed 1922. "Held by the Public Record Office in 1919"
https://www.johngrenham.com/records/county_church_full.php?county=Donegal&search_type=full&denomination=Church%20of%20Ireland

Aussie33 never actually mentioned Rose's religious denomination though. With just Co Donegal as a birthplace don't think can come to any conclusion.
Tithe Applotment Books record the occupiers of tithe-eligible land (heads of house or widows, not children) and it was not as inclusive as Griffiths eg labourers and fishermen who did not rent land, publicans and shoemakers in towns do not appear.

"Guidelines for Posting" (can be found via "Help" tab)

"Do not ask for look-ups from commercial sources
Most commercial sources have strict 'Terms of Use' which forbid publishing their data elsewhere, so
asking for such look-ups is also asking people to ignore 'Terms of Use'."
