hi everyone I've been hitting brick wall after brick wall trying to find information on a man called John Yates {my Great Great Great Grandfather which unfortunately I don't know anything about him other than the date he got married, where he got married, who he got married to, who his son was and the fact that when he died we believe he was a Staff Sergeant in the UK Armed Forces according to his sons wedding certificate but don't know which one}.
John Yates{I don't know when he was born but we know he was deceased in April 1871 due to the census records}.
