Cause of Death mystery.

Hi, Can anyone tell what the cause of death is, I can't make out the writing

It’s a tricky one. Sometimes it can help to know the age and sex of the person.

Eg first word might be Parturition - which is related to childbirth.
(Sorry, BB, I modified to add parturition before I saw your reply)

On seeing the whole certificate, I now think it's Uraemic
Convulsions.

Uraemia Continuum 12 hours.
Uraemia is poisoning from the kidneys failing to filter the blood properly.
Poor soul.

While bowing to Viktoria's superior medical knowledge, I find it hard to read the second word as Continuum. I still think it could be Convulsions, though admittedly the supposed letter v is little more than a blob.

I see why you feel it is convulsions.
Wonder if they were from the Uraemia?
It also is somewhat like Eclampsia, fits following childbirth from toxaemia after childbirth
Wonder if the toxaemia was from uraemia poisoning ?
I am off to Google it.

PS, it can occur because of excess protein in the blood ,so somewhat connected to kidneys .
