Thank you very much amondg.
I think he would have been buried in the war graves section of St Andrew's Cemetery in Newcastle originally.
However, an entry in the remarks column indicates that he was removed by licence (exhumed) to USA Honoken.
I do believe that is where he will be now.
Also I have managed to look at a big volume of memorial transcriptions for St Andrew and his name definitely does not appear.

If you get the PDF to load it is image 38 it has a picture of him.

The navy records are misleading.
It says he was struck by a motor truck and died a week later at Royal Victoria Hospital. Mentions parents as Mr. & Mrs. George Travers address of 54 11th Street Hoboken New Jersey.
He was a member of the choir Trinity Episcopal Church Hoboken. 20 years old.

Another article on image 65

Thanks again amondg.
I'm still not getting the download on kindle but I'll keep trying.
An article I added stated he died at the infirmary.  Presumably the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Someone has let me know that there is a cemetery at Hoboken but there is no website.
I wonder if someone can access records to find out if he is there?

For those having problems with the PDF file. There were 3 separate articles listed on the below dates. I had to split up some of the articles into smaller clips because of the size of the original was too large to clip and still be able to read.

Father George died between 1940 and 1950.
So I tried to find where he is buried no luck so far.
