If you have access to FindMyPast, then George's service record is available to view.  He purchased his discharge on 7 August 1907.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

You seem to have done quite well yourself, but, what about trying to trace all the children's  marriages and  look at the witnesses

LM

Had a look yesterday, Annie Louisa Dimmack was a witness at Sophia France's wedding. Rosina Emma Dimmack was a witness at Annie Louisa's - No sign of Francis.

They had nine children in all, registered Camberwell, mothers maiden name Andrews

Sophia Frances 1867
Eleanor Beatrice 1869
Frances Joseph  1871 -born 21 February from school admission records
Walter Edmund 1873
William Henry 1874  died 1875
Annie Louisa 1876
Henry William 1877  born 8 November from school admission records
Rosina Emma 18979
George Campbell 1884

Thank you, I was missing William Henry.

Can anyone see fold 3 on ancestry?  Listed under UK Royal Hospital Pensioner List

There is a George Dimmack born 1884 Camberwell who enlists in the Army 1898 assigned the Norfolk Regiment
Service number 4997

Don't have Fold3 unfortunately.

If you have access to FindMyPast, then George's service record is available to view.  He purchased his discharge on 7 August 1907.

Only have Ancestry I'm afraid, still, this information is handy to know.

Not sure that this facility is still available - but libraries did/do have access to these websites.
