Ellen "Nellie" Kettlewell
« on: Thursday 18 August 22 11:48 BST (UK) »
b. 1885 Waddingham, Lincolnshire
m. 1907 Lincoln, Lincolnshire (to, I think, a soldier named William Poole)

Does anyone have anything for her? All I've got are the birth, marriage and an 1891 census with her parents (John & Maria).

I've tried both surnames and Ellen/Nellie but can't find anything after the marriage, or any Poole/Kettlewell births. I'm thinking they both emigrated.

FYI, there is an unrelated Walter & Nellie Poole in Birmingham on the 1939 Register.

EDIT: Sorry, William Poole, not Walter!
Eighteen -- Hadleigh, Suffolk; Reading, Berkshire

Sorry, they're in Lincoln (73 Wilson St.) in 1911. He's down as a tin smith.

I see you have edited your post to William Poole who is possibly missing a bride on freebmd ref 1189  :)

ADDED An Ancestry tree suggests that the other couple married at the register office

Yes, that's the 1907 marriage I mentioned.

And yeah, sorry, I had Walter in my head for some reason but checked and corrected it to William xD

So we're looking for anything post-1911 census.

High page number is suggestive that it's a reg office wedding.

There's a William Poole in Bristol on the 1921 census - birth place Ingham, which is right. He's with an Emma Jane.
