Thank you for providing that, I was just about to do the same.

It does look like in the 1851 census she gives her age of 45. I am wondering if this could be a mistake made though when entered by the person who mistook the letter 8 for a 4. Maybe the letter 8 was incomplete?
Just also had to double-check that they are both living in the same place, Quay Court, so definitely the same people in the Censuses.

Would be intresting to see what others think.

Thank you again

Interestingly enough that would put the same year [1766] as Ann Farley's (Unknown maiden name) birth. They could be husband and wife. With furthermore shows that William won't appear on the 1841 or 1851 census records.

I would suspect that Ann and William [abt.1766], Had William in 1802. *Would that not be a little late?

However, does not really explain why Daniel was born in Kent, Horsham though. :/

Added raised possibility of family

I was just wondering, might be a long shot, but whether Daniel Farley from Horsham is the Grandson of Ann in the 1841 and 1851 census.

If so, it could explain Ann's marriage to William in Gloucester.
It just depends on whether Ann and William had a son called Daniel from Gloucester who then went on to marry Esther and have Daniel in Horsham.

It would also explain Daniel being a Gunner in RMA Portsmouth, Maybe the family [Daniel, Esther, son Daniel] moved to Portsmouth. This would have happened before 1810.

If that is the case then Daniel and Esther who had Daniel in 1799. This would mean that older Daniel's baptism would be between 1766 and 1799. But that doesn't make sense either as Ann would have needed to have Daniel by 1782ish... but that would put them both at very young parents if I could find any evidence of that?

Couple of observations, Daniel is either born/baptised in Horsham,West Sussex or born in Gloucestershire and baptised in Horsham. Image link below shows father "Private in the SGM "

We know he is with his mother (ANN) and children in 1841/51. I cannot find any duplication of Daniel Farley's born c1800 in any census if there are 2 of them allowing for the elimination of one or the other.

Who is Mary Farley in the 1841 census aged 15 occupation Pinner.
