Dancer Family Nightmares

I have been researching my Maternal Dancer family for a while and it is proving quite difficult.  My 2x Great Grandfather Charles Dancer was born in 1819 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.  I have been unable to prove his parentage 100%.  I now have a DNA match to a William Dancer born in Wednesbury in 1812.  Finding anything about William is proving to be a nightmare.  I am almost positive that they are not brothers as I think Charles brothers were Richard and Samuel. Any ideas of where to look for William Dancers family would be gratefully received.

An 1819 baptism for Charles Dancer at Wednesbury has father Charles and mother Esther.

On Charles' marriage certificate to Caroline Hodson, it just states Father Charles Dancer dead.

I have been unable to find a marriage any where in the UK of Charles Dancer to Esther.  However there seems to be a lot of men with the surname Dancer married to women called Esther.  I began to wonder if some were the same person and maybe using their middle name, but I have been unable to prove anything.  There are just too many Charles Dancers in Wednesbury!!!!

William is not shown as a direct ancestor, but he is the only person on the DNA matches tree who I could link into.  I have started a research tree trying to find the link between this William Dancer and the family which I am researching.  The records seem to be few and far between and there are so many Dancers in Wednesbury.  I have started to put them into family groups as best I can and I am trawling through the Parish Records for St Bartholomews Church in Wednesbury as the family seem to have many links with this church.

Your Charles married Caroline HODSON in Tipton, but his abode was West Bromwich.

The William DANCER that you are interested in - when he married Sarah FIELDHOUSE in 1834, he was living in Tipton.
They do appear to be related.

I think you will need to look back to earlier generations and build all the family trees. They possibly originated with this family in Oldswinford. (Oldswinford is only 10 miles from Wednesbury , 9 to West Bromwich and 8 miles to Tipton)
