Searching for William Parr
« on: Friday 26 August 22 07:54 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone
I'm trying to search for  a William Parr. Born May 31, 1906 in Cootehill Co. Cavan. I see him in the 1911 census but after that can't find any more records for him. Parents are John William Parr and Rachel Latimer. Father goes by the name of William.

I can’t seem to find a marriage for Williams parents but this looks to be John William’s mother and sister in the 1911 census. They are living in the same place as John William and Rachel.

This looks to be Emily’s birth:

Emily’s marriage cert names her father as James Joseph Parr which makes me think this is her father’s death cert.

Emily’s marriage:

James death:

James death was registered by his mother Harris Parr.

Did William and his parents remain in Ireland? If the parents remained in Ireland, have you found their death registrations to see who was informant?

I think it says Harris Parr (reply #3), brother from Bailieborough.

Here's the one Harris Parr which would relate in the 1901 census.
House 5 in Cornanaff (Skeagh, Cavan).
