Looking for information about my grandfather, James Rennie born and lived at 7 row 1 Inkerman. His father was also named James, born in 1835 and I believe his mother was called Agnes, born in 1834.

Thank you for the welcome and information. I am not sure how to reply to messages so I hope this works. Inkerman was a small mining hamlet in the Paisley area which no longer exists. It was named after a battle in the Crimean War and consisted of three rows of miners cottages. My grandfather and his father both lived in number 7, First row.

Is this the marriage for James Rennie and Catherine Nugent
1898 Old and West Kilpatrick ?
According to the marriage certificate the father of this James is Andrew Rennie
Mother Sarah Ann McDade .certificate on a tree on Ancestry

Was your Grandfather born 1906 ?
