Victor Valintine Blake
« on: Friday 02 September 22 11:52 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone I am trying to find information on my Uncle Victor Blake who came home to Belfast very shortly to die sadly in Beaconfield nursing home in Jan 1968. I know nothing at all about his life apart from that he may have been born in Kerry his father my grandad was serving in the RIC. Sadly I don’t know if he ever married where he lived nothing really. There was family talk he lived in Scotland??? Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you Gerry

Victor Blake, age 48, died 30 Jan.1968 Belfast district according to GRONI's online index.

Birth certificate is online- Victor Valentine Blake
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1919/01228/1511044.pdf

To find Scottish records you need to go to Scotland's People site (pay per view)-
https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
No marriages showing up under Victor Valentine Blake or even Victor Blake so you should probably search in England for possible marriage but there are quite a few possibilities and the index probably doesn't give enough details to rule out or confirm any of those matches.

This may or may not be the correct person. I found a few men named Victor Valentine Blake in England.

There is mention of a Victor Valentine Blake aged 22 , it mentions Belfast and that he was trying to join the Navy after a stint in the RAF.
Not sure if he is your man though.
