Anyone in Basildon?
« on: Sunday 04 September 22 09:24 BST (UK) »
Long shot but is anyone here in or local to Basildon, Essex?
I’d like to set up some kind of meeting/social for people who are interested in or researching their family history but unfortunately the few people I do chat to online are a bit faraway.
Just a thought!
If anyone is close to me and is interested let me know  :)

Have you thought about joining the Essex Family History Society?  There is a branch in Southend.

There is also the U3A, local branch:

Branches often have a family history group....or you could become a volunteer and set one up!

Yes I’ve joined!  :D
I’d certainly be open to setting up my own social group but am looking to recruit some people first! Find out if there would be local people around who may be interested in coming along to sessions… I can’t be the ONLY person in Basildon who is researching their family history!  ;D
