Hi,

Assume this is the Thomas Hastings who sailed on ship Elizabeth in 1634 from Ipswich, Suffolk, with his wife Susan/Susannah.

First thing is to establish a marriage for this couple prior to 1634.

The Hastings family, Earls of Huntingdon were apparently descended from the Neville family through a female line. The last 3 Plantagenet kings were from the same Neville family.
Finding a link from Deacon Thomas Hastings to the Earls of Huntingdon is the problem.
