Possibly MECK? It's a bit hard to tell from this snip which is pixelating. Is it possible to include more of the handwriting on the page for comparison?

Could be MEEK, but difficult to tell without any other writing from the document.

NB For those looking the name  is one of the witnesses in the first record.
