REGAN Co Cork
« on: Monday 05 September 05 21:17 BST (UK) »
I am researching my REGAN family.
They came to UK from County Cork circa 1846/47.
They settled in Woolwich, London for a few decades.
I understand that 4 REGAN brothers came across at the same time.

The particular one I'm looking at is a Timothy REGAN born 1817 and married to Catherine (Maiden name unknown) born 1814
Only other info I have before they moved to UK is that they had a son, Daniel born approx 1841 and a daughter, Ellen born 1846 in Timoleague.

Wondered if any one else was researching REGAN possibly connected to mine or from this area?

Many thanks!
Debbie

Hi,

You should check Timoleague paris records. I presume they were catholic?

These are available only in th National Library from 1842 on.
