I know that they went to Malta and Ionian Islands, West Indies, East Indies and Crimea.
I have the army records.

Hi folks
Thanks very much for your help! I am very confident that mines is the Glasgow JM.
I have found Census returns for 1841 1851 1861 and 1871. Also marriage and death certificates for two sons.
Mother’s name was McVey in most certificates and I was in the understanding it was McKey.
