Name That Bridge!
« on: Wednesday 21 September 22 15:45 BST (UK) »
I'm sure I have seen this before on my travels but the only one that I could come up with was the bridge over the river Cam, but it's not that. Does anyone recognise it? I don't think this one will  be that difficult.
Thanks for looking.

Just picking a big river at random I did an image search for 'Thames church bridge' (without quotes) and came up with Henley:

You did it Arthur...Well done!....and so quick  8) I didn't think it would be difficult and I have seen it on a few occasions.
I wish the other one had been that easy, but that would have spoilt the fun  ;D
Thanks so much  ;)

Other one? Do you mean this - https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=865610.0

I suppose it's inevitable that some photos include unique buildings or combinations of features (as Henley), so once you spot it there's no doubt at all. With that school/farm/church whatever, there's nothing that seems to stand out enough to be recognisable. But this has just given me a thought, so I'm going to add it to that thread and see if it leads anywhere.

Yes, that's the one, I believe it may be a lost cause as it is highly likely to be foreign  :-\
Thanks for that.
