RootsMagic Baptism
« on: Thursday 13 October 22 14:26 BST (UK) »
Would a kind soul kindly help me with problems switching from Legacy Family Tree 9 to RootsMagic 8?
My LFT database is moderately large with lots of sources; qualitative info; photos; and similar precious stuff as well as all the usual data.
How can I be sure that my entire LFT database will be safely transferred to RM.
LFT is a super program but its interface is old-fashioned.  I'm impressed by RM and would willingly switch but I'm not risking 20 years hard labour:) -- even for RM.
If this is the wrong forum for my question, please re-direct me.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Try it!

As long as you keep your LFT Database, you can't lose anything. ;)

Thanks, KG. So far, so good.  RM8 is easy on the eyes and I like it -- so far:)
